ONME Direct in voluntary cooperation with the CPSC is conducting a recall of its GIKPAL 10 Drawer Dresser sold in walmart.com from September 2023 – January 2025.
Name of Product: GIKPAL 10 Drawer Dresser
Hazard: The recalled dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in injuries or death to children. The dressers violate performance and labeling requirements of the STURDY Act.
Remedy: Refund
Instructions: To facilitate the recall process and ensure your safety, please follow the instructions provided on this website. Your cooperation is essential in this matter.
Consumers should secure the product to the wall with the complimentary anti-tip accessory, or immediately stop using the recalled dresser and contact ONME Direct for a refund. We request that consumers provide their contact details, including name, address, telephone number, and email address, in the form below. Following this, ONME Direct will contact you as soon as possible to proceed with the recall process.
Consumers will be asked to write the word “Recalled” in paint or permanent marker prominently on the dresser. Customers will then need to provide ONME Direct with photos of this information displayed on the dresser.
Consumers will also be required to provide a Walmart order number for proof of purchase. For customers that provide a Order ID, ONME Direct will reimburse all out-of-pocket costs, such as the purchase price, tax, and shipping.
Upon receipt of the refund, consumers must dispose of the dresser according to local waste management guidelines.
